TWICE ON THE BOX AND A SURGE ON THE LEADER BOARD

Aurora, MN (December 15, 2008) - It was a weekend of first, as the ISOC/AMSOIL SnoCross Championship Series made it\'s innagural visit to the snowmobile mecca of Ironwood, Michigan. Veteran team rider D.J. Eckstrom scored his first podium of the season with a strong third in Pro Super Stock, while rookie Semi-Pro rider Ryan Carey was equally impressive with a third in his Super Stock final. Those performances, along with Shaun Crapo\'s consistent finishes in both pro classes, now have all three team members firmly in the top 10 in rider points across the board.

Despite not making a podium, Crapo led the team\'s qualifying efforts finishing fourth in both Stock and Open, advancing directly to the front row of both class main events. Eckstrom was also on the front row of the Stock final after his fourth place run in the prelim but was forced to go through the last chance round in Pro Open, which he was then able to win and tag the back row of the final.

The Ironwood track was laid out on a beautiful ski hill setting, that guided riders up and down two adjacent runs totalling nearly a half-mile in length. Starts were again a key to good finishes and D.J. used a quick start in the Pro Stock final to seperate himself from the pack and run with the leaders en route to his third place finish. Shaun also worked his way ahead of the pack and came home with a solid sixth.

In the Pro Open final Shaun worked in and out of the top six before fading to 9th as the track deterorated in the closing laps. D.J., having to work from the back row, fought traffic and snow dust throughout the race, managing to salvage a 13th overall.

In the Semi-Pro ranks, Ryan Carey made a big impression on the team, family and friends, as the Channing, Michigan rider earned his first career Semi-Pro podium. Carey, qualified directly into the Open class final, however, a seventh place finish in his Stock qualifier, relegated him to the last chance race in that bracket.

After a confidence building win in the Open LCQ, Carey used a great launch from his Polaris I/Q to set sail with the leaders in the Stock class final. When the snow dust settled, he rode home with a solid third and propelled himself into 7th overall in the series points. In the Open final he again raced away with the leaders and battled in the top 3 before fatigue from the extra laps of the last chance round saw him slip to a sixth overall.

As the series takes a break over the holidays, the team now finds momentum on its side with all three riders moving up the points table
